Chapter 10 ♥' DAYU! ' Gui Gui shouted loudly as she hugged the Xiao Yu.
Xiao Yu hugged Gui Gui tightly. Ya Tou and Mini continued starring at both the reunited brother and sister. Gui Gui turned around and saw them starring at them.
' Huh ? ' asked Gui Gui.
' Nothing. We were happy for you! ' said Mini.
Ya Tou leaned forward to Xiao Jie and whispered.
' They look more like couples than brother and sister. ' chuckled Ya Tou.
Mini nodded and laughed. Gui Gui was too happy that she didn't mind if people are laughing at her. She hugged Xiao Yu. Then, Xiao Yu push Gui Gui.
' Xiao Mei! Look how you've grown! ' said Xiao Yu looking at Gui Gui.
' Prettier ? Cuter ? Taller ? Shorter ? Fatter ? ' asked Gui Gui.
' Hmmmm. Fatter. ' said Xiao Yu as he sat beside Gui Gui.
' AHHHHHH! I need to go on diet. ' said Gui Gui rubbing her tummy.
' Just joking. You're already thin enough. No worries. ' said Xiao Yu.
Gui Gui wanted to hit Xiao Yu, but Xiao Yu stopped her hand.
' I am back anyway! ' said Xiao Yu.
Gui Gui grinned again. Then, the end of breaktime bell rang.
' DAYU! I need to go back to class. ' said Gui Gui, rushing to finish her drink.
' Ok. I'll meet you later at the house. ' said Xiao Yu smiling.
He waved goodbye to Gui Gui and made his way to the canteen exit. Ya Tou, Mini and Gui Gui grinned at each other and walk back to class.
In class...' Ya tou. Ya tou. ' said Ah Wei while smiling at Ya Tou.
' Hmmm ? ' replied Ya Tou.
' I.. er... ' mumbled Ah Wei.
' What do you want to say ? ' said Ya Tou.
' Er.. I.. like.. y.. ' Ah Wei looked at Ya Tou while he said that.
Wei Lian who was sitting behind Ah Wei and Ya Tou leaned forward. His head popped out from the middle of Ya Tou and Ah Wei.
' What are you talking about ? ' said the silly Wei Lian.
Ah Wei gave a " get out of my sight " look. But, Wei Lian didn't seem to get it. Instead, Wei Lian thought it was " tell her the truth " look.
' Ya Tou. ' said Wei Lian.
' I think you're very cute. ' said Wei Lian.
Ah Wei used his hands to hit it on his own forehead. Then, he searched his bag and found a toy hammer. He showed it to Wei Lian. After Wei Lian saw it, he got back to his seat.
On the other side of the classroom...Ao Quan sat in a gangster-like way. He shake his leg, and hitted Daya's leg accidentally.
Daya stopped what she was doing. She looked down and saw that it was Ao Quan. Daya gave a very fierce look. Ao Quan widen his eyes and also gave a fierce look.
' Do you want a punch on your face ? ' said Daya while biting on her teeth.
Before Ao Quan could reply, Daya pinch Ao Quan's arm with all her energy.
' OUCHHHHHHHHH! ' shouted Ao Quan loudly.
Everybody turned back and saw what was going down. Ao Quan wanted to complain to the teacher when Daya said :
' He hit the table accidentally. ' said Daya while having her fierce-looking eyes on Ao Quan again.
Lessons continued. Then, Xiao Jie turned back to look at Daya and Ao Quan. He shaked his head.
' Ao Quan. You're a man!!! Man don't shout just like that. You must have some girl sides. ' said Xiao Jie while shaking his head.
Ao Quan starred at the girl beside him.
' So, I want all of you to do this worksheets on your own. Ok ? ' said Ms FanFan as she passed down the paper row by row.
As they were doing the papers, everyone thought that the questions were simple and easy. But, it's different for Gui Gui. She can't seem to get what the questions were talking about. Finally, she had no choice but to ask Mini.
' Mini. Mini. ' whispered Gui Gui.
(Ms Fan Fan was writing on the board so she didn't see Gui Gui whispering to Mini.)
Mini didn't hear anything. Mini thought that the questions on the first page were easy. She smiled happily then flipped to the next page with her white pen on the other hand. As she read the questions, her smile slowly turned into a sad look.
' OMG! How ?! What am I suppose to do ? That day, I was passing notes to Xiao Jie, so I didn't pay attention! AHHHH! ' thought Mini as she panicked.
Gui Gui tried to call Mini again, but, Mini didn't hear her. Gui Gui turned to her right - Wang Zi.
' Wang Zi should know. He is smart! ' thought Gui Gui.
Before Gui Gui could call out for Wang Zi, Wang Zi quickly passed a note to Gui Gui. Gui Gui was surprised, she even thought that that were the answers for the paper. She opened the note slowly, hoping not to tear it, as it is rather crumpled.
It reads :
Not a chance !
Gui Gui pouted, then sighed. She flipped through the pages again and again. But none of the questions, seem to let Gui Gui have an easy time.
' Why are all the questions ignoring me ?! Why do they not want to make friends with me ?! ' thought Gui Gui and she pouted again.
Gui Gui looked at the clock, not much time was left. She flipped back to the first page and wrote in the answers anyhow. Which were almost, all wrong.
' Ok ? Everybody done ? ' asked Ms Fan Fan.
Everybody nodded and passed the papers back to the front row. While the row leaders passed it to Ms Fan Fan. Everybody except Gui Gui passed the paper. Ah Ben who was sitting infront of Gui Gui, did not turn back to get the papers. Instead, he had his hand behind, right infront of Gui Gui's table. Gui Gui handed the paper. Ah Ben wanted to take the paper when Gui Gui pulled back. Ah Ben pulled again, so does Gui Gui, who refused to have her paper passed up.
Wang Zi shake his head.
' PSSSSSSSSSSSSS! ' the paper tore.
Gui Gui groaned, she knew she had to take the paper again. She sighed. It was unlucky for Gui Gui. Ms Fan Fan saw the incident and walked to Gui Gui's place.
' Gui Gui, next time, pay attention in class, ok ? I'll let you off this time. ' said Ms Fan Fan smiling.
Gui Gui forced a smile on her face. Then, she grinned.
' Hehehehe. ' Gui Gui tried to laugh.
' Oh my my! Ms. Fan Fan caught me looking at Wang Zi. She caught me daydreaming in class! HELPPPPPPP! ' Gui Gui thought as she had her hands over her mouth, trying hard not to scream.
Wang Zi shake his head as he saw Gui Gui. Suddenly, Gui Gui leaned over to Wang Zi's table. Wang Zi turned his head, their heads were really close to each other.
' I think we have 心電感應(heart connection cable) eh. ' said Gui Gui grinning at the thought of that.
' I think we do not have 心電感應. ' said Wang Zi coldly, looking elsewhere.
' I didn't even call out for you just now, but, you know that I want to ask you questions. ' said Gui Gui grinning.
' It's normal for a person as stupid as you to ask people around for answers. ' said Wang Zi.
' Fine. ' said Gui Gui pouting.
' But, that won't stop the fact that we have 心電感應! ' laughed Gui Gui at the thought of that.
' Wei! Gui Gui! Stop day-dreaming! ' said Mini as she waved her hands infront of Gui Gui.
' Huh ? ' said Gui Gui dreamily.
' Gui Gui! Pay attention! ' said Ms Fan Fan.
Gui Gui concentrated upon hearing Ms Fan Fan's voice, but, her thoughts were still about Wang Zi. Class ended quickly than the students had thought. Everybody rushed out of the classroom.
' Class ends here. Goodbye students! ' said Ms Fan Fan, as the bell rang.
Before Ya Tou could rushed forward to Gui Gui and Mini, someone pulled her hand.
' Oh, my Ya Tou. I finally hold your hand! ' thought Ah Wei.
' Huh ? ' said Ya Tou.
' Did you hear me say anything ? ' asked Ah Wei.
' Did you talk ? ' asked Ya Tou, scratching her head.
Still, Ah Wei was pulling Ya Tou's hand. Ya Tou looked at her hand and blushed.
' Er.. ' Ya Tou heasitated.
Ah Wei saw their hands together and quickly let go of Ya Tou's hand when Ya Tou heasitated.
' Bye bye. See you next week! ' said Ya Tou.
' Ya Tou! Wait! ' said Ah Wei.
' Huh ? ' said Ya Tou when she was about to walk off.
' Why don't we go out tomorrow ? ' said Ah Wei.
' Do your best Ah Wei. You can do it! ' thought Ah Wei giving himself courage.
' Er. Sure. With Gui Gui, Mini and Xiao Jie. Ok ? ' said Ya Tou smiling sweetly.
' Oh...... o...k. ' said Ah Wei.
Wei Lian popped out of nowhere again. This time right infront of Ah Wei. Ah Wei was frightened by Wei Lian and almost fell down.
' What ? ' said Ah Wei.
' Heheheh. Since you both are going out tomorrow. Can I come too ? ' said Wei Lian.
Ya Tou wanted to talk when she saw Wei Lian talking to Ah Wei, so, she decided to not talk anyway.
' Aiyo! ' Ah Wei sighed and pushed Wei Lian's head away.
As Ya Tou was about to walk off again, Ah Wei called her.
' Ya Tou. We'll talk on the phone later. ' said Ah Wei giving his most charming smile which turn out to be abit silly.
' Ya tou. Let's go! ' called out Gui Gui.
Ya Tou waved goodbye to Ah Wei. Ah Wei was about to leave when he saw Da Ya and Ao Quan still in the classroom. So, he stood outside the classroom to eavesdrop their conversation.
' Don't you want to go back home ? ' said Ao Quan caringly.
' I don't need your care and concern. ' said Da Ya.
' I'll send you back after you're done packing your bag. ' suggested Ao Quan.
' I don't need rides from guys, like you. ' said Da Ya.
' It's normal for a gentleman like me to send you home. Hundreds of girls want me to send them home, you know ? But, I rejected them. ' bragged Ao Quan.
' Lies. I won't fall for them. ' said Da Ya as she sighed.
After Da Ya said that, she wanted to leave the classroom. Ah Wei leave upon seeing that Da Ya is leaving the classroom.
' Wei! I know everything already. Stop putting up a brave front. ' said Ao Quan.
Da Ya turned back and looked at Ao Quan.
' Do I know you ? I just met you today. ' said Da Ya calmly.
' We're classmates. We should give each other some classmate 爱(love). ' said Ao Quan.
' I don't need love from you. ' said Da Ya.
Da Ya turned around and left the classroom.
