Chapter 3 ♥' Of course, Yatou! Why should it be Wang Zi ?! What am I thinking of ?! ' thought Gui Gui.
GuiGui cast her vote and put it into the box. After counting up the total votes, Ya Lun was chosen to become the Class Monitor. And Ya Tou was of course, the assistant monitress. Wang Zi was chosen to become the schedule monitor. Gui Gui applauded loudly for Ya Tou. Xiao Jie applauded loudly too. As Ya Tou returned to her seat, she tried to force a smile. She actually did not want to be any monitress. She just want to be a normal student.
While, Wang Zi returned to his seat. Gui Gui nudged his arm. Wang Zi looked at Gui Gui.
' Why can't you smile ? ' asked Gui Gui.
' Why should I ? ' answered Wang Zi.
Gui Gui tried to make funny faces. But, Wang Zi treat them as nothing and looked elsewhere. Xiao Jie noticed that Gui Gui was trying to make funny faces. And she knew that, her best friend, Gui Gui, is fond of someone. She giggled softly and paid attention to what Ms Leng wants them to do next. Gui Gui looked at Ms Leng, pretending to pay attention after Wang Zi gave her the cold shoulder. Throughout the whole lesson, Gui Gui did not pay attention at all. Finally, the school bell rang.
Gui Gui jumped out of her seat in joy and clapped her hands. Xiao Jie was frightened as Gui Gui did that out of nowhere. Wang Zi shake his head in dissapointment. Gui Gui gave a grin. Wang Zi ignored her and walked away. Gui Gui packed her bag and rushed out to catch up with Wang Zi leaving Xiao Jie and Yatou behind.
Gui Gui rushed forward to Wang Zi and raised her hands to stop him from walking. Wang Zi stopped right infront of Gui Gui. He pushed her hardly. To his surprise, Gui Gui fell down. Ya Lun saw the whole incident and scolded Wang Zi.
' What do you think you're doing ?! She is just a girl after all. Why do you use so much force on her ?! ' scolded Ya Lun.
Wang Zi ignored him and walked away. Although, he was sorry for what he had done, he did not dare to apologise so he walked away. Ya Lun helped Gui Gui up and brought her to the medical room to check if she had any injuries. Gui Gui thanked Ya Lun after that. Xiao Jie who looked for Gui Gui everywhere, cant find her. So she called Gui Gui on her cellphone. Ya Lun answered the phone as Gui Gui was still having her check-up. Xiao Jie heasitated upon hearing who was on the phone. She passed the phone to Ya Tou to answer.
' Hello ? ' said Ya Lun.
' Hello. Is Gui Gui with you ? ' asked Yatou.
' Yes. We are in the medical room now. ' answered Ya Lun.
YaTou hanged up the phone and pulled Xiao Jie's hand to bring her to the medical room. There Gui Gui was, she sat down with the doctor examining her leg. Yatou and Xiao Jie rushed forward to Gui Gui. Worried about her. Ya Lun smiled and walked away. Gui Gui told them what had happened and told them not to worry. When she was looking for Ya Lun, she realised that he had already walked away. Ya Lun walked through the corridors of the classroom 206. Smiled and went back home.
Ya Tou and Xiao Jie help Gui Gui up from the chair. The doctor said that she was fine.
' Wang zi. So what if he's some sort of PRINCE ?! ' nagged Xiao Jie.
' Yeah! What attitude is his ?! ' followed by YaTou.
' He ought to have his legs break too! ' said Xiao Jie.
Ya Tou nodded. Gui Gui shake her head in dismay.
' NOOOOO! You cant do that ! ' said Gui Gui immediately.
' Why not ?! You're gonna let him off ?! ' asked YaTou.
Gui Gui nodded. Yatou and Xiao Jie shake their heads. But since their best friend said so. They cant do anything. They walked home together. As Yatou parents went overseas, she had to stay at GuiGui's house. So, Xiao Jie went off first. Followed by Gui Gui and Yatou.
Before sleeping, Gui Gui can't help but think of Wang Zi. She rolled around on her bed, she thought about how much he had changed since young. When he was young, his father would often bring him home after he played enough. Gui Gui would walk home after Wang Zi went off. They were also best friends when they were young. They made a promise that next time, if they would to see each other again, they would become the best of friends. Gui Gui closed her eyes, she knew all was impossible with Wang Zi. As, he was not the Wang Zi she once knew anymore.
With that, she held onto her stitch toy and fell asleep..
