Chapter 22 ♥" I just wanted to play around with her because she believes in the fortune-teller thing. But now.. I think I have really fallen for her.. " thought Wang Zi.
Everybody were deep in their sleep, except Wang Zi. He thought about the moment when Gui Gui cried and hugged him. Wang Zi tried to close his eyes but he opened his eyes again and again. He can't fall asleep.
The next day..." WAH! Little prince, what happened to you ? " asked Ya Lun as he took a second look at Wang Zi's panda eyes.
Wang Zi gave an " I don't know " sign to Ya Lun. He went to the toilet and looked at his panda eyes.
" Gui Gui! Wake up! " said Ya Tou as she pulled Gui Gui out of her bed.
" WAH! Why is your eyes so swollen ? " asked Ya Tou.
Gui Gui was still tired, she cried too much yesterday. Somehow, Gui Gui did not know why she cried too.
" Huh ? What ? " asked Gui Gui with swollen eyes, still lost in her wonderings of why she cried.
Ya Tou starred at her and looked closer at her eyes.
" Looks like goldfish! " giggled Ya Tou.
Gui Gui was surprised by what Ya Tou had said and decided to go take a look at herself in the mirror.
" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! " Gui Gui screamed, this time, she was fully awake.
" Why is my eyes like that ?! " asked Gui Gui as she looked in the mirror again.
Ya Lun and Wang Zi were standing outside of Gui Gui's room with Ya Tou behind them, trying to get the view as Wang Zi and Ya Lun were too tall. They were still wondering why Gui Gui had screamed.
" Nevermind! Apply some cream! " said Ya Tou as she pushed through the two tall guys.
Gui Gui thanked Ya Tou and quickly applied the cream under her eyes.
" Breakfast time! " shouted Ya Tou as she pushed through the two tall guys again.
This time, everyone rushed to the dining room. When they were all sitting down and eating happily, Ya Tou looked up and starred at Wang Zi and Gui Gui.
" Swollen eyes, panda eyes... " said Ya Tou as she starred at Wang Zi and Gui Gui again.
" Something's weird going on, huh... " Ya Tou smiled cheekily.
Gui Gui quickly covered Ya Tou's mouth.
" Hmmm...mmmmm.. " Ya Tou tried to talk.
Gui Gui quickly looked at the clock in the dining.
" Time to go to school! " said Gui Gui as she rushed off to her room.
Few minutes later, Gui Gui came out of her room, waving.
" Wang Zi.. Why don't you explain ? " asked Ya Lun.
" Eh. Brother, she is your girl. I won't snatch her from you! " said Wang Zi sounding calm.
" The purpose of wooing her was actually to make you- " Ya Lun stopped upon hearing himself saying the wrong words.
" What ? " Wang Zi looked at Ya Lun seriously as he questioned.
" Eh. Gui Gui forget to bring her watch. " said Ya Lun looking worried.
" You haven even entered her room, how do you know ? " asked Ya Tou scratching her head.
" I didn't see her wearing it! " excused Ya Lun as he rushed off to school also.
Wang Zi and Ya Tou continued eating as they were speechless.
Later at school..." Ya Tou! " called Ah Wei as he saw Ya Tou entering the classroom.
Ya Tou smiled and quickly went to her seat.
" Gui, You okay ? " asked Wang Zi as he sat down.
" Wa. Wang Zi's worrying about me. Wait, Gui Gui! Remember, fortune-teller! Cannot be with Wang Zi! " thought Gui Gui to herself.
Gui Gui nodded and tried to give Wang Zi the cold shoulder.
" Remember about tomorrow. " Wang Zi reminded Gui Gui.
Gui Gui nodded again.
" Pig! " said Ya Lun as he walked towards Gui Gui's table.
" Yes, Lun Lun ? " answered Gui Gui as she acted cute.
" Erhem. " Ya Lun cleared his throat as he walk to his seat.
Daya and Ao Quan's side..." Hello Ya Ya! " said Ao Quan as Da Ya placed her bag on her seat.
" Wa! Normally, I see that you're so man with so many girls chasing after you. Didn't know you have such a so called cute side! " teased Wei Lian as he entered the classroom by the back door.
Ao Quan glared at Wei Lian furiously.
Everybody heard what Wei Lian said and quickly turned around to look at Ao Quan. Da Ya rolled her eyes at Ao Quan and took out her books.
" Ya Ya. " Ao Quan said as he ignored the people looking at him and held Da Ya's hand.
" What ? Stop calling me like that. I am disgusted. " said Da Ya as she sighed and tried to shook her hands off Ao Quan.
Luckily for Da Ya, Ms. Fan Fan had came into the classroom. Ao Quan let go of Da Ya's hand and let out a sigh.
As per normal, Xiao Jie(B) looked lifeless. He had been like this ever since Xiao Jie(G) left.
" Ok class! Listen up! Good news for you all. " Ms. Fan Fan announced.
Everybody looked up attentively upon hearing the words " Good news ".
" Xiao Jie(G) is back. What's her english name again ? I forgot. " said Ms. Fan Fan as she scratched her head.
Everybody looked at each other happily but not as happily as Gui Gui and Ya Tou. Not forgetting Xiao Jie(B) as he looked at Xiao Jie(G) who just came in from the front door. Astonishment were shown on the student's faces, they were surprised by Xiao Jie(G)'s new look.
" Mini! " Gui Gui answered happily and was smiling away sweetly.
" Oh yes! So we have two Xiao Jie's here. " said Ms. Fan Fan as she scratched her head.
" Xiao Jie(G), can you sit beside Xiao Jie(B) ? " asked Ms. Fan Fan.
Xiao Jie(G) walked quietly to her seat. She changed alot. She looked skinnier than before and she had curls on her hair now.
" Xiao Jie(G).. " Xiao Jie(B) whispered as he smiled.
Xiao Jie(G) did not reply. Instead, she looked infront.
Gui Gui and Ya Tou looked behind. Together, they giggled to themselves.
" Ya Tou, when you laugh, you look very cute. " said Ah Wei, daydreamily.
" Thank you. " said Ya Tou as she smiled radiantly at Ah Wei.
When Ya Tou smiled, somehow, Ah Wei felt his heart melting.
" Rong Jia, I heard that your birthday's coming. " said Wei Lian as he looked at Rong Jia happily.
" Yes. It's tomorrow.. " said Rong Jia heasitantly.
" Why do you look sad ? " asked Wei Lian with a worried look.
" You should be happy instead. Your brithday's tomorrow after all. " said Wei Lian as he tried to smile.
" Well... I.. don't celebrate my birthday. In fact, I didn't even celebrate it before.. " said Rong Jia as her smile disappeared from her face.
" Why ? " asked Wei Lian, worried.
" My father and mother are working overseas. Which means I am living with my brother, my brother always say that he is busy with his school work, so.. I don't intend to disturb him. " said Rong Jia as she sighed.
Just then, something brilliant popped out from Wei Lian's mind.
After School..." Wang Zi, can I ask you something if you don't mind ? " asked Gui Gui as she looked at Wang Zi with her puppy eyes.
" Shoot. " said Wang Zi coldly as he packed his bag.
" Well.. I... " Gui Gui said heasitantly.
" Quick, don't watse my time. " said Wang Zi.
" Gr. Nevermind! " said Gui Gui as she walked off.
Wang Zi shook his head and quickly headed for the airport.
" Airplane K570. Got it! " said Wang Zi as he looked at the television.
" Wang Zi! " said the girl as she took off her spectacles and ran towards Wang Zi.
