Chapter 24 ♥" Xiao Jie(G), take a drink. " Daya said as she handed Xiao Jie(G) a cup of coffee. Xiao Jie(G) smiled and took a sip of coffee.
" Thanks. " Xiao Jie(G) thanked Daya.
" May I ask you something ? " Daya asked, her eyes looked really serious and sincere yet a little of curiousity.
" Sure... " Xiao Jie(G) agreed, nodding her head.
" Why didn't you attend school for those few weeks ? " asked Daya, waiting for an answer.
Xiao Jie(G) forced a smile on her face, then, tears, uncontrollably rolled down from her cheeks.
Gui Gui's side..." Gru.. Gr..u. " Xiao Man's tummy rumbled.
Ya Tou giggled and Gui Gui starred at Xiao Man.
" Lunch ? " Gui Gui asked with a cheeky smile.
Xiao Man nodded. Together, the 3 girls went to Gui Gui and Ya Tou's favourite shopping mall to have lunch.
" Geesh, I need to go to the toilet.. " Gui Gui whined.
Ya Tou and Xiao Man nodded and waited outside the restaurant. Along the way back to the restaurant from the toilet, Gui Gui saw the fortune-teller that told the fortune of Wang Zi and her. But, there were people gathering around her..
" What happened ? " asked Gui Gui as she went up to a young lady.
" Well, she's my grandma. And, well, she's abit of a mental case. So, we came here to bring her home. " replied the young lady seriously.
" So, her fortunes are false ? " asked Gui Gui.
The young lady nodded.
Gui Gui was rooted to the ground. False ? Does that mean that she can be with Wang Zi already ? Gui Gui fished out something from her wallet, something that the fortune teller gave.
Just then, Gui Gui's cellphone rang. Gui Gui placed the thing back into her wallet.
" Hello ? " Gui Gui answered.
" What's taking you so long ? I am going to die of starvation.. " Xiao Man teased.
" Okok, coming. " said Gui Gui as she dashed to the restaurant and hung up the phone.
" I want this, this, that, this, and this! " said Xiao Man pointing to the menu.
" Wow, aren't you a glutton ? " teased Gui Gui as Ya Tou laughed aloud.
The waitress nodded. Soon, the dishes were nicely layed out on the table. The 3 girls salivated especially Xiao Man.
" It's been a long time since I came to a restaurant. " grinned Gui Gui as she took a bite on the sweet and sour pork.
" Yes, me too. " agreed Ya Tou, as she took some vegetables.
" Are you both serious ? " asked Xiao Man in a surprise tone.
Gui Gui and Ya Tou looked at each other before looking at Xiao Man. Then, they nodded and grin sheepishly.
Meanwhile..." This channel's nicer.. " said Ya Lun.
Wang Zi shook his head as he reached his hands to the remote control.
" Ok, fine.. " said Ya Lun, as he snuggled comfortably on the sofa.
" What time is it now ? " asked Ya Lun after some time.
" 6.30pm. " replied Wang Zi glancing at the clock across the living room.
" Gah, we need to prepare for the surprise party, remember ? " recalled Ya Lun.
" The girls aren't back yet.. " replied Wang Zi, sighing.
Just then, the girls came in by the door, giggling.
" We won't forget that easily. " smiled Ya Tou sweetly.
Then, all of them went to prepare except for Wang Zi, Gui Gui and Xiao Man.
" I better get going. " said Xiao Man as she hugged Gui Gui and Wang Zi.
" Help me tell goodbye to them. " smiled Xiao Man leaving the door.
Then, she waved one last time to Gui Gui and Wang Zi before Gui Gui closed the door.
" If the party's tomorrow.. then.. " Gui Gui said remembering about her birthday and also the beach trip.
Wang Zi placed his finger on Gui Gui's lip, signalling to her that she should keep quiet about it.
" Wow! Rong Jia's birthday is tomorrow, so is mine. " blabbered out Gui Gui happily.
" What ? Your birthday's tomorrow ? " asked Wang Zi, surprised.
Gui Gui covered her mouth with her hands, shook her head and dashed for her room.
" Tomorrow ? Beach ? " thought Wang Zi.
" Phew, close shave.. " said Gui Gui to herself as she chose the clothes that she is going to wear.
" This should be the one. " said Gui Gui as she picked a yellow, cheerful tee-shirt paired with a blue shorts.
Gui Gui tied up her hair and smiled to the mirror as she grabbed her cellphone and some coloured papers.
When she came out of her room, Ya Tou, Wang Zi and Ya Lun were sitting on the sofa, waiting patiently for her.
" Let's go. " said Ya Lun as he signalled a let's go sign to all of them.
" Let me help you. " offered Ya Tou as she took some of the coloured paper from Gui Gui's hands.
Gui Gui smiled sweetly at Ya Tou. Together, they took the bus to where they were suppose to meet at. When they arrived there, everybody were there already. Girls were chatting, boys playing their PSP and also some reading anime. Just then, someone rushed forward to Ya Tou.
" Hello, my Ya Tou. " smiled Ah Wei as he held Ya Tou's hand.
" Hello, Ah Wei. " replied Ya Tou sweetly.
" Now, let's go. " shouted Wei Lian.
" Go where ? " everyone asked curiously.
" FOLLOW ME! " shouted Wei Lian as he led the group of people.
Everyone followed and soon they arrived at school.
" What ? " Daya replied, shock.
" Huh ? " Ya Tou gulped.
" Here ? " asked Ya Lun, surprise.
" What ? " Wei Yu asked.
" Aiyo, Wei Lian, are you an idiot ? " asked Ao Quan as he hitted Wei Lian's head.
Ah Wei stood beside Ya Tou and copied Ya Tou's posture.
" Another idiot. " said Ao Quan hitting Ah Wei's head.
" Where's Xiao Jie(B) ? " asked Gui Gui and Wang Zi at the same time.
" Where's Xiao Jie(G) ? " asked Wang Zi and Gui Gui at the same time.
" Why, you miss him/her ah ? " asked the both of them at the same time.
" Hey, stop being a copy-cat. " said Gui Gui.
" I am a cat but you are worse than a cat. " said Wang Zi as he rolled his eyes.
" Ok, stop! " Ya Lun said as he walked in between them.
" Little pig, relax. Little prince, relax.. " said Ya Lun.
Together, both Wang Zi and Gui Gui replied..
" Don't call me that! " both of them said as they had their back faced each other.
" Crazy prince. A minute ago, he was like an angel, talking to me nicely. A minute later, he turned into a beast, talking to me rudely. " mumbled Gui Gui under her breath.
" Crazy ghost. Why am I so childish ? Getting angry just like that ? " thought Wang Zi as he tried to remain his normal, cold, self.
" Yeah, I thought they were here.. " said Ao Quan.
Daya nodded.
" I'll call Xiao Jie(B). " Ao Quan suggested.
" I'll call Xiao Jie(G) then. " Daya said as she nodded.
" We're here! " shouted someone from the back of them.
" There they are! " waved Ah Wei.
Ya Tou waved along too. Then, Wang Zi and Gui Gui turned around.
" Hmph, stupid prince. " said Gui Gui.
" Childish ghost. " Wang Zi said coldly.
" Wei! " shouted Gui Gui, furious.
" Ok, enough! " said Ya Lun.
" Can I ask why are we in the school ? " asked Daya.
Everyone nodded, surprise. So did the 2 Xiao Jies.
" Party here. " replied Wei Lian, grinning.
" Huh ? " everyone asked.
" Here. " said Wei Lian in a determined tone.
Everybody looked at Wei Lian.
" In class. " said Wei Lian.
Everybody smiled at each other cheekily and replied together.
" Wei Lian, are you an idiot ? " asked everyone.
" How isit going to be a surprise if it's in class ? " asked Ao Quan.
" How isit going to be a surprise if it's in class, early in the morning ? " asked Gui Gui.
" Plus it's Saturday tomorrow.. " said Daya.
Everyone nodded, agreeing with the three of them.
" You'll see.. " said Wei Lian, heading to the classroom, while everyone followed him.
" Let's decorate this classroom and surprise Rong Jia the next day.. Here's the plan.. " said Wei Lian softly.
Everybody gathered around Wei Lian and listened to his plan.
" Ok! " agreed everyone.
" Wow, Wei Lian. I thought that you were always brainless but now you actually came out with a brainy idea. " teased Ao Quan.
" Not as brainless as you. " said Daya as she pushed Ao Quan's head.
" Wei! Watch your mouth! " said Ao Quan.
Daya ignored him and the girls proceeded to decorate the classroom. Soon, the classroom were nicely decorated. The classroom was nicely decorated with balloons, banner and also tables laid out with beautiful decorations of Rong Jia's favourite flowers.
" Ok, now, with the plan.. " said Wei Lian.
After awhile..." I suggest Gui Gui. She is the best in acting. " suggested Daya.
" Yes, I agree. " Ya Tou said, smiling.
" If my Ya Tou agree, I also agree. " nodded Ah Wei.
Ao Quan and Xiao Jie(B) rolled their eyes at Ah Wei.
" What ? " asked Ah Wei.
" Ok, that's settled. Gui Gui, you ok ? " asked Wei Lian.
Gui Gui heasitated and looked at Wang Zi, hoping that he could help her. But, Wang Zi just nodded at her.
" Ok. " agreed Gui Gui smiling sheepishly.
Everybody smiled and continued discussing about the plan.
The next day..." Hello Rong Jia! " shouted Gui Gui.
" Hello Gui Gui, why are you in school also ? " asked Rong Jia, surprised.
" Er.. Wei Lian called me to come to school.. " sighed Gui Gui.
" Wow, really ? Wei Lian called me too and told me that Ms. Fan Fan wanted to announce something important. " said Rong Jia.
" Heh. Yes, that's right. " said Gui Gui.
Just then, Ya Tou walked passed the both of them.
" Hey Ya Tou! " shouted Gui Gui.
Ya Tou nodded.
" Time for action! " thought Gui Gui to herself.
" Let's go. " said Gui Gui as she pulled Rong Jia to the classroom.
Just when they were about to enter the classroom, Gui Gui disappeared.
" Gui Gui ? " Rong Jia looked around but Gui Gui was nowhere to be seen.
But, she was surprised by everyone when she entered the classroom.
" SURPRISE! " shouted everyone.
Rong Jia stood rooted to the ground, surprised. Then, Wei Lian appeared in front of Rong Jia.
" Rong Jia, can I be your boyfriend ? " asked Wei Lian with a bouquet of flowers.
Rong Jia blushed immediately, she gave a slight nod, but, Wei Lian didn't see it.
" C'mon Rong Jia! Agree la. " said Daya.
" Don't be shy. " said Ya Tou.
" Yeah.. " agreed Xiao Jie(G) as she smiled to Xiao Jie(B).
" Ok. " said Rong Jia softly.
" Huh ? " asked Wei Lian.
" Ok! " Rong Jia said aloud.
" YAY! " shouted Wei Lian as he hugged Rong Jia.
Everybody smiled at the couple, except 2 missing people...
