Chapter 21 ♥Gui Gui and Ya Tou lay their heads on the canteen table and sighed.
" I miss Mini. " said Gui Gui as she pouted.
" Me too. " said Ya Tou as she sighed.
Then, both of them sighed together again. Both of them did not talk, they put their heads on the table till the recess bell rang. Ya Tou and Gui Gui got up from their seats. They looked like they have lost their souls.
" Gui Gui! " called out Ya Lun.
Gui Gui turned around lifelessly, as she turned around, she remembered about something.
-FLASHBACK-
" I know you still like him. "
" Huh ? What are you talking about ? "
" Although you're smiling to me often, I know that deep in your heart, you still have him in it. "
" But.. "
" Actually, my purpose of wooing you is because I wanted him to say his true words. "
The girl slowly smiled and together they entered the classroom.
-FLASHBACK END-
" Remember. " said Ya Lun as he held onto Gui Gui's hand and entered the classroom.
Ya Tou entered the classroom right after Ya Lun and Gui Gui. As Gui Gui looked up, she saw Wang Zi. He was wearing his reading glasses to read his book. As he saw Gui Gui and Ya Lun, he took off his glasses and placed his book back into his bag. Upon seeing what Wang Zi did, Ya Lun placed his arms around Gui Gui's shoulder. Gui Gui was surprised by what Ya Lun did.
" Eh, no need to act untill so real right ? " whispered Gui Gui as she forced a smile.
" To make him say the truth. " said Ya Lun as he smiled.
Wang Zi smiled at Ya Lun. At the same time, he felt that pain in his heart again. Gui Gui hurriedly went to sit beside Wang Zi. As she sat beside him, she remembered the first time she sat with him. The first time she saw her childhood friend again. All she wanted was Wang Zi to be her boyfriend.
Even one day would be fine for her." Why isn't Ms Fan Fan here yet ? " asked Wei Lian as he scratched his head.
Ah Wei gave a " I don't know " look to Wei Lian. Ya Tou sighed again. As for Xiao Jie, he starred on his book for quite a long time. At the same time, he had memories of Mini flashing through his mind.
" Daya.. " Ao Quan said softly.
" Hmm.. ? " Daya replied.
" About that day, I... " Ao Quan heasitated for quite awhile with Daya starring at him.
" Well.. I.. " Ao Quan said.
" Stop acting like an old lady. " laughed Daya.
" Ok. Class, sorry, I am late. " said Ms Fan Fan as she entered the classroom.
Once again, Ao Quan didn't say what he was suppose to say to Daya. He took out his book from his bag and kept his words.
Wang Zi and Gui Gui's side...Wang Zi looked at Gui Gui. Somehow, she still looks the same as she was. Long dark brown hair tied up, rosy cheeks, big pretty eyes. When she was young, she was also cheerful and happy always. Compared to her younger days, she is much more prettier now. Prettier than before...
His thoughts roamed through his mind. When he looked at Gui Gui, his heart beats faster.
Is he falling for Gui Gui ?Just then, Gui Gui turned her head towards Wang Zi. But, this time, not one of them looked elsewhere. They exchanged glances. As Gui Gui looked at Wang Zi, her heart beats faster. Then, Gui Gui felt her cheeks turning red and looked elsewhere.
Soon, the lesson ends. Everybody packed their bags and were all happily walking out of school.
" Gui Gui! " called out Ya Lun from behind as he held Gui Gui's hand.
Gui Gui did not reply, she just looked up at Ya Lun and smiled. Wang Zi walked past them. As Wang Zi did so, Ya Lun held on tighter onto Gui Gui's hand.
" Little Prince! " called out Ya Lun.
" I..er.. need to do something important. Can you bring Gui Gui back home for me ? " said Ya Lun, not wasting any time.
Wang Zi smiled at Ya Lun and nodded. Ya Lun waved, before that he hugged Gui Gui and whispered into Gui Gui's ear.
" This is your opporturnity. " said Ya Lun as he got Gui Gui out of his arms.
As they were walking home, both of them did not talk. They remained in " silent mode " until Gui Gui spoke.
" Are you fine ? " asked Gui Gui.
Wang Zi looked at Gui Gui before answering.
" Of course. " Wang Zi said as he smiled.
" Hehe. " giggled Gui Gui.
" You look cute when you giggle. " said Wang Zi.
Gui Gui felt her cheeks getting warm. Wang Zi said something sweet about her again.
" Thanks. " said Gui Gui as she smiled sweetly.
" Have you had lunch already ? " asked Wang Zi as he rolled up his sleeves and looked at his watch.
" No. " replied Gui Gui as she rubbed her tummy as it started to groan loudly.
" I'll make lunch for you. " said Wang Zi.
Gui Gui nodded and smiled sweetly.
Minutes later, they arrived home. Gui Gui looked at Wang Zi as he cooked lunch for her. At any angle, he is still the same, handsome Wang Zi.
" Here's lunch. " said Wang Zi as he took off his apron and placed the dishes on the dining table.
Gui Gui sniffed the great lunch Wang Zi had prepared. Just then, something popped out from Wang Zi's mind.
" Are you free this Saturday ? " asked Wang Zi.
[Gui Gui's thoughts]
Why is he asking me this ?
Is he dating me out ?
" Yes. " said Gui Gui.
" Great. Let's go to the beach again. " said Wang Zi, smiling.
Then, she remembered that this Saturday is actually her birthday. She decided to keep mum about it instead of telling Wang Zi. Gui Gui continued eating. At the same time, she smiled.
As for Wang Zi, he looked at Gui Gui as she ate. Unknowingly, he smiled. Both of them can't wait for Saturday to come. As Gui Gui ate, she really hope that time could stop. There is only the two of them now. Suddenly, Gui Gui got up from the chair and hugged Wang Zi.
" Sorry. " said Gui Gui as she whispered into Wang Zi's ear.
Wang Zi was surprised. But at the same time, he was happy. When they were young, they ever hugged before. Like before, Gui Gui hugged Wang Zi first.
Slowly, tears rolled down from Gui Gui's cheek. Wang Zi knew that Gui Gui was crying. Wang Zi couldn't control himself but to place Gui Gui's head onto his shoulder.
" Why are you crying ? " asked Wang Zi gently as he stroke Gui Gui's hair.
Gui Gui hugged Wang Zi tightly. Her tears rolled down from her cheeks. Tears more than before. Gui Gui cried all her might. She sniffed. Her eyes turning reddish.
" Sorry.... " Gui Gui said again as she sniffed.
Wang Zi hugged Gui Gui tightly. Hoping that he could provide her body warmth and comfort. That was all Wang Zi could do. At the same time, Gui Gui continued crying.
