Chapter 23 ♥" Xiao Man! " Wang Zi said happily as he hugged Xiao Man.
" Long time no see, you grown pretty handsome and taller now. " said Xiao Man as she took a quick glance of Wang Zi from head to toe.
" Nah! I think that you've grown prettier. And, your hair... " Wang Zi said as he messed up Xiao Man's hair.
" Yes, I took quite a lot of consideration before cutting my precious long curly hair. " said Xiao Man as she smiled.
Wang Zi smiled back.
" So, how's your study in America ? " asked Wang Zi as he helped Xiao Man with the luggage.
" Fine lo. Anyway, my purpose of coming back here was to see my boyfriend, Ah Ben. " said Xiao Man smiling.
" Ah Ben ? " Wang Zi thought that this name was rather familar.
" Oh! Ahben from class 301! " Wang Zi said aloud.
" Huh ? You know him ? " Xiao Man asked in curiousity.
Wang Zi nodded followed by a charming smile.
" Oh, by the way, do you know Gui Gui ? " Xiao Man asked again.
Wang Zi shivered upon hearing the name Gui Gui.
" That stupid ghost.. " Wang Zi mumbled under his breath.
" Huh ? " Xiao Man looked at Wang Zi.
" The taxi's here. " said Wang Zi as he waved his arms.
Gui Gui's side..." Lun Lun... " Gui Gui groaned as she pulled Ya Lun's arm.
" Yes ? " Ya Lun asked as he smiled charmingly.
Gui Gui let out a sigh then continued watching the television.
" That's the 10th time I heard you sighing.. " Ya Lun said as he counted using his fingers.
Gui Gui sighed again.
" 11! " Ya Lun said.
And again...
" 12! " Ya Lun replied sighing himself.
" 1! " Gui Gui counted.
Then, they looked at each other and laughed.
" Ya Lun, I think you're more like my brother. " Gui Gui said as she smiled.
Ya Lun smiled back but he had a sour feeling.
" Haha. " Ya Lun laughed.
Then, the house telephone rang.
" Hello, may I know who you are looking for ? " asked Gui Gui politely as she smiled to herself.
" Mei ah. " Xiao Yu said.
" Yes ~ ? " Gui Gui said in a cute voice.
" My girlfriend's in Taiwan! " said Xiao Yu happily.
" When do you have a girlfriend ? " Gui Gui asked in curiousity.
Xiao Yu had hung up already. Gui Gui sighed.
" 13 hor! " Ya Lun said as he smiled cheekily.
Gui Gui pinched Ya Lun's cheek as she sat on the sofa. Then, someone knocked on the door.
" Wa, alot of visitors calling in and coming in today.. " groaned Gui Gui.
Gui Gui went to open the door clumsily.
" You are.. ? " Gui Gui asked.
The girl took off her spectacles, smiling.
" Gui ! " Xiao Man said as she hugged Gui Gui tightly.
Gui Gui was still in a state of shock. She was too elated to express her feelings or even speak. Instead, she just hugged Xiao Man tightly.
" Gui, you are so pretty and adorable ! " said Xiao Man as she looked at Gui Gui.
" What happened to your hair ? " asked Gui Gui.
" Why is your question same as Wang Zi ? " asked Xiao Man, not answering Gui Gui's question yet.
" Huh ? Wang Zi ? You know him ? " asked Gui Gui, speechless.
" Yes ! You both live together ? That's unbelievable. " said Xiao Man as she entered the house.
" I did not know that you both know each other. " said Xiao Man smiling.
Gui Gui gave an embarrassed grin. Just then, Xiao Man saw Ya Lun sitting on the sofa.
" And this is ... ? " Xiao Man asked.
" Wa, Gui Gui. Your roommates are so handsome ! " Xiao Man whispered into Gui Gui's ear.
" Handsome ? Oh my gosh! " said Gui Gui sighing.
" 14th time. " said Ya Lun as he looked at Gui Gui.
Then, Gui Gui went beside Ya Lun and linked arms with him.
" My boyfriend, Ya Lun. " said Gui Gui smiling.
" Ohh... " Xiao Man said as she smiled in a friendly way towards Ya Lun.
" Xiao Man ?! " Ya Tou shouted in atonishment as she entered the living room with a glass of milk.
" Ya Tou! " Xiao Man said as she went over to hug the surprise Ya Tou.
" Xiao Man, we miss you! " said Ya Tou smiling happily.
Xiao Man, Xiao Jie(G), Gui Gui and Ya Tou were primary school best friends. As Xiao Man's parents were rich, they brought Xiao Man to America to study while they work there. Although, Gui Gui, Xiao Jie(G) and Ya Tou could not bear to part with her, they soon got used to it. As for Xiao Jie(G), Gui Gui and Ya Tou, they went to the same secondary school and so on.
" You became more girly! " said Ya Tou as she saw Xiao Man's yellow sunshine dress.
" Of course.. " said Xiao Man as she twirled around.
Ya Tou and Gui Gui giggled.
" Back. " said Wang Zi as he pushed the door.
" Hello Little Prince. " Ya Lun said as he patted Wang Zi's shoulder.
" It's been hard on you.. " said Xiao Man bitterly.
" Are you staying here permanently ? " asked Gui Gui as she pouted.
" No... " Xiao Man said.
Ya Tou and Gui Gui groaned.
" Nah. I mean YES! " Xiao Man shrieked.
Ya Tou, Gui Gui and Xiao Man did a friendship hug together and shrieked.
" Girls.. " sighed Ya Lun.
Wang Zi shook his head.
" 2nd time! " said Gui Gui laughing.
" What do you know about girls.. " said Xiao Man as she turned back.
" If only Xiao Jie's(G) here. " remarked Gui Gui.
" Yes... " agreed Ya Tou.
" How's Xiao Jie(G) anyway ? " asked Xiao Man.
" She changed alot... " Gui Gui said.
" It's ALOT! " remarked Ya Tou.
Just then, Ya Tou's phone rang.
" Hello Ya Tou! " said Ah Wei on the phone.
" Hmm ? " Ya Tou answered.
" Wei Lian's planning a surprise birthday party for Rong Jia.. " said Ah Wei.
" Oh! " said Ya Tou, surprised.
" Help me tell the others and we're going to prepare for it later on at night. " explained Ah Wei in a serious tone.
" Ok. I will inform the others. " said Ya Tou as she was about to hang up.
" Byebye. " said Ah Wei as he giggled to himself.
" Bye~ " said Ya Tou sweetly.
Ah Wei's heart melted.
Meanwhile, at Xiao Jies side..." Xiao Jie(G).. " Xiao Jie(B) called out for Xiao Jie(G).
Xiao Jie(G) did not reply. Then, Xiao Jie(B) rushed forward and grabbed hold of Xiao Jie's(G) arm.
" WHAT ?! " shouted Xiao Jie(G).
" Why aren't you replying me ? " Xiao Jie(B) asked.
" Why should I ? " argued Xiao Jie(G), she shook her hand off Xiao Jie(B).
" Fine! " shouted Xiao Jie(B) as he walked away hastily.
Xiao Jie(G) looked at Xiao Jie's(B) back view as he walked away. She regretted. She regretted that she actually shouted at him, hurting his feelings. With that, a tear rolled down from Xiao Jie's(G) cheeks. Just then, Da Ya saw Xiao Jie(G).
" Xiao Jie(G) ? Are you okay ? " asked Da Ya as she walked nearer to Xiao Jie(G).
" I.. made Xiao Jie(B) an..gry.. " said Xiao Jie(G) as she cried.
" Don't cry... " said Da Ya as she hugged Xiao Jie(G).
Xiao Jie(G) continued crying and grabbed hold of Da Ya's arm. She felt worn out. Worn out from everything... Hurting Xiao Jie(B) and also her deceased mother..
