Chapter 18 ♥Da Ya looked at her handphone. The caller ID showed Ao Quan's name.
' Suspicious of him and he calls. ' thought Da Ya, still thinking whether she should answer the call or not.
Da Ya's phone continued vibrating. Soon, Da Ya made up her mind to answer Ao Quan's call.
[In the conversation]
Da Ya : Hello. ( Daya said in a cold tone. )
Ao Quan : Hello! ( Ao Quan said in a cheerful tone. )
Silence broke out after the both of them said Hello.
Da Ya : I think that...
Ao Quan : I wanted to say...
Both of them said at the same time.
Ao Quan : Ladies first. You go first.
Da Ya : Ermmm...
Ao Quan : Huh ?
Da Ya : Is the letter written by....
Ao Quan : Hehehehe.
Da Ya : Why are you laughing ?
Ao Quan : Nothing.
Suddenly, Da Ya's mom shouted.
" Da Ya, come down now! " shouted Da Ya's mom.
" Coming! " shouted Da Ya as she sighed.
Ao Quan : Was that your mom ? She's loud. ( Ao Quan said softly)
Da Ya : Yes, I got to hang up.
Ao Quan : Bye.
Da Ya : Bye..
[End of Conversation]
Da Ya ran downstairs. There was Da Ya's mother and also a familar-looking guy. Da Ya was surprised upon seeing the guy at the door.
" Da Ya! " said the familar-looking guy.
Gui Gui's side...Gui Gui and Ya Tou continued watching the television. Then, Wang Zi and Ya Lun came back home.
" I want more... " said Wang Zi, drunk.
Ya Lun had Wang Zi's arm around his shoulder.
" Little prince, we're home. " said Ya Lun as he let Wang Zi lay beside Gui Gui on the sofa.
Ya Tou got up from the sofa and rush to the toilet to get some wet towels.
" Gui Gui, do you mind if Wang Zi lies on your lap for awhile ? I go prepare the bed nicely for him. " said Ya Lun, hoping for Gui Gui to say ' YES. '
" Ok.. " said Gui Gui as she smiled.
" Hehehehe! I want more! " said Wang Zi, drunk, as he smiled to himself.
Then, he got up from Gui Gui's lap and sat down properly.
" Who are you ? " asked Wang Zi as he pointed at Gui Gui.
" Gui Gui. " said Gui Gui, giving her best smile.
" Oh, my childhood friend! " blabbered out Wang Zi.
" So, he did remember. But he didn't tell me... " thought Gui Gui sadly as she pouted.
" Why are you pouting ? Hehe! So cute. " said Wang Zi, smiling.
Gui Gui felt that her face had turned red. This was the first time she heard such sweet words coming out from Wang Zi's mouth.
" Hehe! So cute. " said Wang Zi as he lay on Gui Gui's lap again.
Gui Gui patted Wang Zi's head. Ya Tou ran to the sofa and placed the wet towels on Wang Zi's forehead. Little did anyone know, Wang Zi had fallen asleep. Ya Lun came out of his room, and wanted to bring Wang Zi in. But...
" Aiyo. I want to sleep here lah! " grumbled Wang Zi, as he went back to sleep.
Ya Lun tried to pull Wang Zi's hand. But, Wang Zi did not get up and continued sleeping on Gui Gui's lap.
" Nevermind. I'll sleep here for the night. It's getting late. You both go to sleep. " said Gui Gui as she yawned.
Ya Lun and Ya Tou had no other choices. So, they went back to their rooms to sleep. Gui Gui lay her head on the sofa and watch Wang Zi sleeping.
" So handsome! " said Gui Gui with sleepy eyes.
Slowly, she fell deep into sleep with Wang Zi sleeping too, on Gui Gui's lap.
The next morning..." Wah! I got new pillow. " said Wang Zi with his eyes closed.
" Since when did I bought new pillows ? " thought Wang Zi, alert now.
Wang Zi opened his eyes and saw himself on Gui Gui's lap. Then, he shouted loudly.
" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! " shouted Wang Zi loudly.
Gui Gui rubbed her eyes. Ya Lun and Ya Tou came out from their rooms, still, not knowing what had happened.
" Huh ? " said Gui Gui, half-awake.
Wang Zi got up from the sofa and looked at Ya Lun for a few times and starred at Gui Gui next.
" What happened ?! " said Wang Zi.
" You were drunk yesterday. I wanted you to wake up and sleep in our own room. But, you refused and wanted to sleep on Gui Gui's lap instead. " explained Ya Lun.
Upon hearing what Ya Lun said, Ya Tou laughed loudly.
" Gui Gui's lap must be more comfortable. " joked Ya Tou.
Gui Gui starred at Ya Tou, furious.
" Aiya. You...jus...t.slept on ... my..lap. Nothing.. happened.. " said Gui Gui as she blushed.
" Someone's blushing! " said Ya Tou.
Gui Gui got up from the sofa and went after Ya Tou. Both of them ran around the apartment.
" Are you sure ? " asked Wang Zi, scratching his head, trying to recall what had happened yesterday.
" Or, you did not even try to wake me up! " said Wang Zi, giving Ya Lun, the suspicious eyes.
" You can ask Ya Tou and Gui Gui. They did see what I did. But, you refuse to get up. " said Ya Lun, trying hard not to laugh.
" Sure ? " asked Wang Zi again.
" Yes, little prince. " said Ya Lun, smiling confidently.
Wang Zi tried hard not to blush and quickly went to the toilet to wash his face and brush his teeth.
" Gui Gui's lap ? New pillow ? " thought Wang Zi as he brushed his teeth.
After 10 minutes, Wang Zi was still in the toilet, deep in his thoughts.
" Little prince ? What happened ?! " asked Ya Lun as he rushed into the toilet.
" Huh ? What ? " said Wang Zi, with a blur face.
" Aiyo, brush one teeth, brush so long. We're going to be late for school. " said Ya Lun.
Wang Zi continued brushing his teeth. He changed into his uniform and went to the dining room along with Ya Lun.
" Ham and Cheese ? " said Ya Lun.
" Your favourite! " said Wang Zi, smiling.
Gui Gui was not in her school uniform. Instead, she was also deep in her thoughts. She kept cutting the bacon continuosly while she was thinking.
" Gui Gui, go change into your school uniform. Stop dreaming. " said Ya Tou as she gave a slight push to Gui Gui.
Gui Gui quickly take a gulp of milk and went to her room to change. After awhile, they were all ready to go to school.
In School...Xiao Jie looked at Mini's seat, it was still empty. Ms Fan Fan entered the classroom with another new student.
" Another new student ? " said Gui Gui sighing.
Everybody looked at Gui Gui. Gui Gui gave a grin.
" Today, we have a new student. His name is Wei Yu! Let's welcome him! " said Ms Fan Fan, smiling.
Everybody clapped for the new student - Wei Yu. He is a friendly guy, he's got a radiant smile and he gives everybody a warm, friendly feeling.
" You may sit beside Gui Gui for the time being. " said Ms Fan Fan.
Gui Gui waved happily at Wei Yu. She loves welcoming new students.
" Retards. " said Wang Zi coldly.
Gui Gui ignored Wang Zi although she heard what he said, very clearly.
" Hello! " said Wei Yu, smiling at Gui Gui.
Gui Gui smiled back sweetly.
At Ah Wei and Ya Tou's side..." Scissors, paper, stone! " said Ah Wei and Wei Lian.
" Who loses, have to confess to Ya Tou. " said Wei Lian.
Wei Lian is good at Scissors, paper and stone. So, he was not afraid of losing. In fact, he is creating an oppoturnity for Ah Wei to confess to Ya Tou.
" Ha! You lose! " laughed Wei Lian, after 3 rounds of scissors, paper and stone.
" Ok. Confess, confess loh. I am not afraid anyway! " said Ah Wei proudly.
Before Ah Wei could even speak to Ya Tou, Ya Tou had already turned around.
" Yes ? " said Ya Tou, sweetly.
" Er... " said Ah Wei, suddenly, he became speechless.
" I remembered someone saying that he is not afraid of confessing. " said Wei Lian, rubbing his chin.
Ah Wei glared at Wei Lian.
" Ok! Here it goes! " said Ah Wei as he smiled.
" Ya Tou, I LIKE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " shouted Ah Wei loudly.
Everybody looked at Ah Wei and so did Ms Fan Fan.
" Eh. You very stupid eh! This is school leh! " said Wei Lian, as he pushed Ah Wei's head.
Ah Wei did not know what to do next. Ya Tou was surprised by what Ah Wei had said. Wei Lian shaked his head seeing how stupid Ah Wei could be compared to himself, makes him laugh.
